Czech materials engineering meets Japan's decarbonisation push.
Mid-rise CLT and modular construction are accelerating across Japan, driven by the revised Wood Use Promotion Act and the national decarbonisation roadmap. Czech timber producers, structural engineers, façade specialists, and smart-building technology providers bring the technology, the certifications, and – since EXPO 2025 – a built reference at pavilion scale. This Working Group is where those two trajectories meet: with introductions, missions, and certification work already mapped for 2026–2027.
